Colourful earrings created from upcycled sixpence coins and Japanese paper.

These earrings have been handmade with Chiyogami paper, this is a Japanese paper traditionally used in bookbinding and art. ‘Arches’ is a stylised , modern take on a traditional fan design. The pattern is white and deep blue with copper highlights. The earrings hang from sterling silver hooks. A rich glossy resin is used to finish the earrings, this protects the paper and gives a beautiful shine.

The jewellery is handmade in Haworth, West Yorkshire. A pendant and brooch are also available in this design.

The earrings measure 3.75cm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the coin. The coin itself is 2cm in diameter. The tin measures 5cm x 2.5cm and is 1cm deep.

The earring hooks are hand formed from sterling silver wire. The sixpences used are original and date between 1947 and 1967.

Your earrings will be stored inside their little tin and wrapped in tissue paper and twine. A care card will be included.

A product care card is included with your purchase.
